ChemInno conferences bring together leading scientists, engineers, industry experts, regulatory authorities, and innovators working at the interface of applied chemistry, industrial technologies, and real-world applications. ChemInno 2026 marks 65 years of excellence of the Institute of General and Physical Chemistry (IGPC), Belgrade, founded on pioneering research in zeolite chemistry and applied physical chemistry.

The Conference is conceived as an integrated platform connecting academia, industry, startups, and regulators, fostering sustainable development, innovation, and effective knowledge transfer from research to application.

Abstract Submission

 Abstracts should be submitted by e-mail as attached documents.

  • Submission e-mail: cheminno@iofh.bg.ac.rs
  • Subject:ChemInno 2026 – First name and surname of presenting author
  • Authors should indicate in the body of the e-mail: contact details, academic title (BSc, MSc, PhD), selected session and type of the presentation (invited talk/poster).

Abstract preparation guidelines

Publications

  • All accepted abstracts will be published in the Book of Abstracts (ISBN, English).
  • Special Issue Announcement - Following the conference, participants will have the opportunity to submit full-length papers to the ChemInno 2026 dedicated Special Issue of the international peer-reviewed MDPI journal Materials, with a publication discount ranging from 50% to 100 percent. The deadline for submitting the full-length papers is December 31st, 2026.

Plenary Speaker Presentations

  • Total duration: 20 minutes
  • Recommended presentation: 15 minutes + 5 minutes discussion

Invited Speaker Presentations

  • Total duration: 15 minutes
  • Recommended presentation: 12 minutes + 3 minutes discussion

Presentations should be prepared in PowerPoint or similar software.
Authors are required to bring their presentation on a USB drive and upload it before the start of their session.

Poster Presentations

Authors with accepted abstracts may present their work as a poster.

Poster requirements:

  • Format: A0 (841 × 1189 mm), minimum A1 (594 x 841 mm)
  • Orientation: portrait
  • Minimum font size: 16 pt

The poster should include:

  • title
  • authors and affiliations
  • contact details
  • main findings
  • figures and tables where appropriate

Posters will be displayed in a dedicated area, and authors are expected to be present during the poster session.

Awards and Recognition

To promote excellence and innovation, ChemInno 2026 will present the following

Special Award – Zeolite-Based Innovation

In honour of the scientific foundations of the Institute of General and Physical Chemistry, established on pioneering research in zeolite chemistry, a special monetary award will be granted for:

The best innovative poster presentation within the scope of ChemInno 2026 based on zeolite chemistry or zeolite-derived chemical technologies and applications.

  Award value:120.000,00 RSD / 1.000,00 EUR

 

Conference Fees (Academic Participants)

  • Students (BSc / MSc / PhD): 12.000,00 din /100 EUR
    Early-bird student fee: 50 % discount if paid before 15 April 2026
  • Delegates: 18.000,00 din / 150 EUR

International participants will be provided with detailed payment instructions and an invoice for international transfer after registration.

The Conference fee includes access to all scientific sessions, conference materials, Book of Abstracts (ISBN), coffee breaks, lunch and networking sessions, Certificate of Participation
